//Name: Mark Cole //Voice Part: Bass //Title: TREASURER //Hood: Mechanicsville
"Singing words is over rated."
Mark is a native of Weaverville, NC near Asheville. He loves many genres of music, especially acapella, bluegrass, and big band/swing. Over the years Mark has performed in musical theater, a barbershop quartet, several choruses and choirs, and several contemporary acapella groups to include aCappology 101 while at NC State, Queen City Groove in Charlotte, NC, and now Uncommon.
Mark is a civil engineer, is married to a magnificent wife, Mandy, and has three young sons. For fun, he likes to spend time with his family, play tennis, hum, and whistle. Although he is capable of singing words, he loves singing bass because it allows him to connect with the most basic form of human musical expression: grunts and moans! He loves trying new sounds and putting together new songs with Uncommon and also enjoys weirding people out when practicing alone in public.
